What is additive manufacturing (3D printing)?

Additive manufacturing builds parts layer by layer directly from a 3D model, instead of cutting material away. We use two industrial processes: FDM (extruded thermoplastic filament) and SLA (UV-cured liquid resin). Each one has a different sweet spot in cost, accuracy, surface finish and mechanical performance.

Can you help if I don't have a 3D model?

Yes. Send a 2D technical drawing, sketch, or even a sample part — we offer modelling and reverse engineering (3D scanning) services to create the printable file for you.

How do I get a quote?

Accepted Answer

Use our contact form to upload your file (STL, STEP, 3MF or technical drawing) together with the material, quantity and finishing you need. You will receive a written quote, usually within 24 hours on business days.

What file formats do you accept?

Accepted Answer

For automatic geometry checks: STL, STEP (.stp), SAT, 3MF. For manual quoting we also accept PDF technical drawings, DWG and DXF. For dental work we additionally accept OBJ and PLY.

Is there a minimum order?

Accepted Answer

Yes — minimum order value is 50 EUR (excl. VAT). There is no minimum quantity: a single prototype is just as welcome as a production batch.

How are prices calculated?

Pricing is driven by part geometry and bounding box, material type and volume, chosen technology, quantity, post-processing operations and required lead time. Larger batches benefit from setup amortisation.

How long is a quote valid?

Quotes are valid for 15 days from the date of issue, unless we state otherwise on the offer.

What materials are available?

Over 50 materials across FDM and SLA — including PETG, PLA, ABS, ASA, PC, TPU, PA12 nylon, carbon- and glass-fibre reinforced composites, engineering resins, biocompatible dental resins, and high-temperature resins. See the Materials page for the full list.

What are the maximum part sizes?

FDM up to ~360 × 360 × 360 mm and SLA up to ~200 × 125 × 210 mm. Larger parts can be split and printed as assemblies, then bonded or mechanically joined.

What tolerances can you achieve?

Accepted Answer

We are not formally ISO 2768-F certified — we use ISO 2768 only as a reference guideline for what each technology can typically deliver. As a guideline: FDM ≈ ISO 2768 Medium–Coarse, SLA ≈ ISO 2768 Fine, down to ~0.06 mm on small features. Real achievable tolerances depend on geometry, material and orientation — we'll review your part during quoting.

Can you advise on material choice and DfAM?

Yes — every quote includes a free design-for-additive-manufacturing review. We can suggest the best technology, material and orientation for your mechanical, thermal and visual requirements.

What are typical lead times?

Accepted Answer

Small to medium parts typically ship in 3–7 business days. Larger or more complex parts depend on quantity, finishing and machine availability — we always confirm the date on the quote.

Do you offer rush production?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Express production from 24–48 hours is available for prototypes, depending on size, complexity and current load. A rush surcharge applies and is shown clearly on the quote.

Where do you ship?

Throughout Croatia and to all EU countries with 1–5 business day delivery. International shipping outside the EU is available on request.

Can I pick up the parts?

Yes, pick-up is available at our Bjelovar address during working hours (Mon–Fri 07:00–15:00). Please coordinate the time in advance by email.

Do you sign NDAs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can sign your NDA or provide our standard template. Files are stored on access-controlled storage and are only handled by staff working on your order.

What quality control is included?

Accepted Answer

Every order goes through visual inspection and basic dimensional checks against the supplied model. On request we provide pre-shipping photos and additional dimensional reports.

Question 19

Do you offer biocompatible / dental work?

Accepted Answer

Yes — see the Dental SLA page. We use biocompatible resins (Class I) for surgical guides, splints and dental models. Final clinical responsibility for the medical device remains with the prescribing dentist or laboratory.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Bank transfer is the standard payment method. Business customers receive an invoice with the order; established partners may be offered NET 15 terms. Private customers pay in advance by bank transfer.

Do you issue VAT-compliant invoices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invoices are issued by Gloria d.o.o., VAT ID HR42352413780, in accordance with Croatian and EU VAT rules. Reverse-charge VAT applies for valid EU VAT-registered business customers outside Croatia.
