FDM · fused deposition modeling

FDM 3D printing for functional parts

FDM builds parts from melted thermoplastic filament, layer by layer. It's cost-effective for tough engineering parts, brackets, housings, jigs and short runs.

When to choose FDM

When you need tough, functional parts in engineering polymers at a good price. As a guideline, FDM corresponds to ISO 2768 Medium–Coarse.

Materials

From PLA and PETG for prototypes to ABS, PC, TPU and glass-fibre PET-GF for demanding uses. See the materials page for details.

Large parts

Single parts up to 360 mm; bigger ones can be split and joined as an assembly.

How it works

  1. 01

Send an STL, STEP or 3MF file through the form or the calculator.

  2. 02

We review the geometry and send a quote, usually within 24 hours.

  3. 03

After your approval we produce the parts and ship them as soon as they're finished.
